HATECO: Two Years, A Lifetime of Legacy 🎓

Mt. Hagen Technical College — proudly known as HATECO — has always been a place where determination met opportunity. Whether in the Automotive Trades (Diesel Heavy Equipment Fitting, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, and others) or within the Business Faculty, every student shared in a journey marked by discipline, discovery, and resilience.

In the workshops, the clang of tools and hum of machines taught precision and perseverance. In the classrooms, lectures and discussions nurtured enterprise, innovation, and leadership. Together, these experiences shaped a vibrant community of learners who discovered not only technical expertise but also the values of teamwork, vision, and responsibility.

Though our studies spanned less than two years, the lessons endure for a lifetime. We carry forward certificates, skills, and above all, the spirit of HATECO — a spirit that inspires us to contribute meaningfully to industry, business, and society.

As alumni, we remain bound by a common legacy: we are builders, innovators, and changemakers. HATECO gave us confidence to stand tall, prepared us to meet challenges, and reminded us that education is both a privilege and a responsibility.
